the builder phase.

I’m Aayush Jain. I bring an AI engineer’s way of thinking and an MBA perspective to a question that feels personal: how could we make more room for care?

Engineering brought me to AI.
Healthcare gives the question weight.

My journey runs through IIIT Nagpur and IIM Mumbai, from AI engineering into a broader business perspective. I want to stay close to building: asking a question, making something tangible, and learning what reality has to say about it.

I come from a family of doctors. That gives my interest in healthcare a personal starting point, while leaving a great deal for me to understand by listening to people who deliver care every day.

Could the beds we have go further?

India is receiving growing attention in AI. I’m interested in what that could mean for the everyday working capacity of healthcare. Adding beds matters. I also want to investigate whether better information and coordination could help the existing beds, people, and time go further.

That question led me to Convertase: an exploration of a clinician-controlled data layer and the intelligence that could grow over it. The three starting contexts are clinics, doctors, and hospitals.

Conviction in AI pessimism and limits.

“If a human with every resource at their disposal can’t do it, AI can’t either.”

That is my skeptical starting point. I do not see AI as a way around missing evidence or the limits of what can be known. A confident answer cannot make up for missing information.

This belief is why I’m interested in the data layer: giving AI the context, tools, and resources relevant to the task, while making gaps and uncertainty visible. The doctor’s ability to inspect, question, correct, and decide is central to the idea.

Early enough to change my mind.

I have a direction and questions I care about. The first product, the right devices, and the most useful place to start are still open. I’d rather learn from a real workflow than make the website sound more certain than the work is.

If you are a doctor, a hospital operator, a researcher, or a builder thinking about similar problems, I’d value a conversation.
